Literally the ONLY Anti-material rifle for the military sniper, and even then, the reloading and switch speed is so bad...I wish military sniper is given more attention in terms of badassery like this one. :(

What Jacob said, it gets easy after you do one skeleton set then you can just reuse that one but it's hard to explain

Connect correct bones from L4D2 skeleton to CoD skeleton. I don't know how to explain it.

Ok, I understand everything for the most part, the only thing I really needed clarification on from what Rex originally said was how I was supposed to "attach" the bones to each other. I'm not seeing any way to have a bone follow another bone's exact motions (which is what I think the Valve bone would have to do in order for the anims to work properly, right?) But if Rex doesn't use blender I don't think he can help any more than he already has. I will look into it.

Maybe you can help me with that? I just need operational L4D2 varms assigned to BO3 varms. In exchange I could drop you some assets if you'll need them (BO1, BO2, BO3, Ghosts, AW).

I've stopped working on L4D2 stuff long time ago, but I could try to do some stuff with BO3 models and animations IF someone will help me with those varms. They have too much bones and I'm confused when I'm trying to work with them.

To do it in Blender, you will need plugins for importing XNALara files and SEANIM files + exporter called Wraith (or you can ignore XNALara plugin if you want to fix model smoothing by yourself).

Export models to SMD (working skeleton, but fucked up smoothing) and MESH.ASCI (XNALara file. Fucked up skeleton and working smoothing) and export animations to SEANIM.

Connect L4D2 varms to CoD varms (good luck with that part), connect weapon to it, add animations and export. Other stuff to do is textures and QC file.

That's how I'm doing this. Works well with most stuff.

I use neither Maya or blender, it's the method I use for porting cod animations

That's not exactly true.
If you porting animations through Maya - you may be right. However, if you porting it through Blender with use of Wraith exporter - model size will be almost identical to Source assets.

@Flim-Flam Fadinger Doober to Port cod animations you have to attach each individual valve bone to the IWskeleton and line them up you also have to resize the IWskeleton because cod viewmodels are gigantic compared to l4d viewmodels
