just saying it can have a Lot of positive effects.
on the other hand if people who tend to need control tend to have negative mental reaction to any drug that takes away mind or body control, so those would have like minus 10-20-30 on mood in such cases ^^
also its stages, 1,2,3-just happy, less concious and less effected by bad mental stuff, so high you can barely move but your mental total numb to all neg concious is like 10% left, lastly so high you just pass out sleeping waking up 16 hours later feeling you had the most amazing dream ever and still pleasently high but hungry and thirsty like hell and weird gravings xD

have you considered making this mod customizable though? as in, a settings menu wouldn't hurt I think.
for instance, I'd like to remove the consciousness penalty altogether, but keep the moving speed debuff and set a non-zero chance of addiction

Avoid THC oils and other processed smoking and vaping products due to the presents of other irritants
maybe a 5%, also you know the effects vary a lot for every person, also the said addiction on rimworld is really excessive, again their effects are individual
