The slow regrowth is on purpose! they have poorer armor and utilize healing beams as a main source of repair, I recommend playing in fleets or staying near a home station!
You can also play as a mothership craft and heal your own fleet to keep them going. Its just the playstyle :0

I love the ship designs, the weapons, and where they are placed in the galaxy but the their regrowth rate is so long. could you consider increasing the rate they grow the blocks and such?

Well, I hope you find out what's causing this.

Actually its not just these guys, ive been noticing this with all my recent mods in production, im not sure what the issue is. However i will work towards fixing it if i can.

I have played around with this mod a little bit so far, and I have to say, I love the ship designs! The weapons (I mean mining lasers) are also pretty neat. I also like the concept of their armor.

But I have found some issues, one is that it appears their ships have little to no a.i. (they rarely move, even when attacked). Their stations do not seem to build anything. And lastly, I am not sure if this was intentional or not, but very little if any resources spawn in their territory (This makes the early game pretty brutal).

btw i usually find them around the outer edges where reds and terrans spawn

Have you explored the whole galaxy or did you most literally do the reveal command and not find them at all.

can't find these ppl and kill them so i can't unlock

suggestion:
armor =3.4 wont work
3.4 means only block bullet under 3.4 damage , its almost useless.
armor > 20 for against red , >270 for terran , >1500 for tinkrell
