New video on map gameplay design
I've made an intro video for a possible series on map design for gameplay.

If this is something that you think might be of use to you as a map maker, do let me know, and I'll get on with the other videos.

Also, as alluded to at the end of this video, I've made the first video on tactics. In this case, dodging which is probably not so relevant to map making, but still is a bit, since the space in the map affects what kind of dodging is possible.

The video does give some good ideas about map creation, however I think it could have been condensed quite a bit (I did watch the whole video). It would be nice to see more of these types of videos, along with other tips for map-making. The dodging video definitely opened my eyes to the use of wall jumps, which I had previously disregarded as a useful manoeuvre. These kinds of videos may be useful, even if some of the contents seem fairly obvious (such as strafing or moving in a non-predictable manner). In any case, it was nice to hear some of your theories regarding map creation and what makes maps fun and it was interesting to see how some of the in-game movement features could be used.

Thanks very much DarkGuy. Yeah, I do try to keep it concise, but I think I ended up blabbing a bit on the first video. I think I'll try and use at least a rough script in future to prevent this, which I did for the dodging video but not the map design intro video. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement, I'll try to make more of these at convinient intervals.
