As you know, notifications in torchlight are kinda weird, take focus and all that. You tried to fix it in your ui essentials, but, while technically its okay, visually its meh solution. So, what s my idea is about:
All notifications will act kinda like quests and appear as one-liners in one place (each new lower than previous. In my concept, they take place on top of quests showcase, but mb you will find them better spot), with two icons on side - message and X. 1st is purely informative, to differ notifications easily. Clicking on notification will show it completely (e.g this notification will turn from one-liner to full message). While clicking on X will make it disappear without reading
