Animation Problems
So I'm new to the level editor. I've made two simple maps so far. For my third, I have one part where I would like shards to fly at you once you get close. NOT just pop up from the ground, but fly at you (like shrapnel from a tornado). I could do the animation fairly easily, but I can't find ANY way to trigger the animation once you get close; the only option I can find is a time-based delay trigger, which won't help. Anyone know how to set proximity triggers to start animations?

EDIT: I've also looked at the Shard Emitter, which doesn't actually seem to emit shards, and the Event Listener looked promising but I don't know how to operate that either.

Use the event listner, and place an EventTriggerBox/EventTriggerSphere whereever you want the animation to be triggered. Select the event in the EventListner properties and set on-Event to Play.
