ANIMATION ALWAYS PLAY REWIND WHEN TRIGGERED (IM TRIGGERED FOR THAT)
hi guys.

i want to make a feature. once you entere in the right portal it will open a wall.

so i create a wall made an ANIMATION and assigned to the event
motion sliding

default action: none
on action: play

off action: stop (either i tried none).
loop: off.

event i tried either one shot or not one shot. didn't change.

so with those configuration the wall slide upwards but then comes back to its original state.

off reset:0.

i don't know if i missed something or is the feature wich is bugged.

First make the motion Advanced not Sliding,
Translate type = Local

Translate vector = where you want the door to slide to

loop = unchecked
Extrapolation Type = Normal
Curve Type = Linear

Event Options======================

Default action = none
on action = play
on wait for animation = unchecked
on resert = unchecked

off action = none
off wait for animation = unchecked
off reset = unchecked

This should get you a door that stays open after the event has been triggered.

For a door, i agree with everything semtex has said, except for the curve type. That one's more of a visual choice, depending on how you want the visuals of the door to come across. Do you want to to start opening slowly, before picking up speed? Or should it open quickly before slowly easing itself into the wall. Feel free to play around with that setting, and find out what looks best for your design.

that totally worked. thanks!

@siddey10. uhm. maybe i should try as well. I im ok with the classic open door animation. big issue the dorr slam the car sometimes. i resolved by making them intangible. I don't need them to be force closed at the moment.
