I do find the creation of a thread solely to advertise two people simply tasteless. It would've been better to make a thread about lesser known authors in general to find some hidden diamonds (That ONE skin an author got right out of several ones) but a thread centered around those two skins? Ugh. Also WHAT is a lesser known author anyway? We can count the known ones with two hands max.
It doesn't make it any better that the OP is asking us to willingly stop upvoting skins that have a good presentation. Am I supposed to vote skins that look... Ugly? Entries with only one screenshot? Entries with ugly color combinations? I'm fine with discussing hidden diamonds but this guilt trip about how people upvote stuff that actually looks cool is stupid.
We don't have to help these two authors, they have exactly the same tools we have to make it in. Max we can do is go to the workshop and vote for absolutely everything so we don't miss a single entry and can keep our workshop feed up to date. That's what I always do.
EDIT: Would there be a skin with one screenshot or bad presentation that intrigues you then it's a nice idea to ask for more screenshots in that situation. I do that all the time with both lesser known authors and more known authors if they forget to include some modifications etc. You don't have to help these two authors, I just listed 2 skins that intrigued me. I understand that you have your own brain and you don't need to do what the OP says.
My problem with the OP is that it sounds rather pretentious, as if "we didn't know better" because we're voting for stuff where the author actually went the extra mile by actually *GASP* fully showcasing his work. The OP doesn't even give people the idea of discussing other skins, this is a thread fully dedicated to those as of its current version.
If someone cannot be bothered with not even good but just some BASIC presentation then I really cannot be bothered to post something as obvious as "add more screenshots please" unless I really REALLY think the skin has some potential. We cannot babysit every skin at the workshop.
Those two examples do have some basic presentation though so they really aren't bad in that regard. Greed lacks screenshots showcasing different mods while the other skin has tons of irrelevant filler screenshots that should've been removed long time ago.
What makes you think this is even a thing? Have you seen the CS1 and 2 winners?

The author only ever released pretty BAD skins in the past before finally making this one. Presentation is boring (Only 3 shots) but you can tell how the skin is like just fine.
Not sure if passive aggressive comment or...
I'd really appreciate it if you comment on the item workshop which Screenshots should be removed and your opinion about the skin, I recognize I am not very good doing the presentations for the skins, that's why I make a short video showing how it looks in-game.
The reason I put lots of screenshots is to demostrate how the mods look like, maybe it's too much?
Again, I would appreciate if you let me know these kind of things by commenting, I can't improve if no one leaves any feedback.
My lack of comments at the workshop entry is not against your particular entry in general (You probably guessed that much though) but is more of a result of several bad experiences I had in the past while providing feedback. Most of the people publishing have absolutely no idea how to deal with basic feedback which often leads to outcomes such as:
* Deleting comments (That guy spamming the 30 awful "chrome" weapons comes to mind...).
* Talking in super broken English, often completely misinterpreting what I've said in the most negative way.
* No room for feedback reception in an objectively awful weapon skin (You know something is wrong when most of your gun is DEFAULT WHITE).
* "If you can do better then do that instead of telling me what you think it's wrong!"
So after a while I outright stopped posting any feedback towards quality building. I usually try to keep feedback to a minimum because I don't want to impose my own views of what's "good" or "bad" but rather just fix technique flaws and details that can be improved while keeping the same idea. There are other times where something is so *garbage* that starting from scratch is the best option, and there's nothing wrong with telling someone that since if anything, you're saving that person some time.
So nowadays I just stick to the modus operandi of "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything". It saves me time and it saves me from having to deal with all those previous examples. Now... If you want a particular opinion related to the presentation of your gun (I'll post it here since the discussion started here), well:
* My main issue is that you're showing the weapon in a modded loadout screen that while it does have the advantage of having the blue tint removed, in return it looks too dark. This results in your skin's color blending way too much with the background and in return one can hardly fully appreciate it.
* The screenshots with the different quality conditions aren't tagged and that combined with the previous point makes it hard to notice how the tearing and wearing works like.
* First point strikes again with the screenshots for the mods. I can barely see the difference between the different screenshots because of this. Practically all of these screenshots would've benefited from being taken in the workshop section itself. Practically every screenshot also lacks different angles and whatnot and in return people miss the effect you added to the gun.
* Now this is the part that probably caused you to do all those previous missteps: The video. It's not a bad video although choppy but the problem is that the video should be a supplementary material for the stuff you already posted, not the only source of things that otherwise aren't present in your presentation.
The video showcases how the weapon actually looks like in-game AND it gives us a better look of how the point of view and different angles change the colors. All of these things should be shown via screenshots first and the video should just be an extra.
Practically every skin I've made follows my pattern but keep in mind that this is the most "utilitarian" pattern one could follow, which shows all the information you could all while not requiring any super artistic talent or anything. Other people go the extra mile and create custom pictures with the oh-so-ever popular "Gun here with a reflection under it" effect and whatnot, while others are so popular they don't even bother to add more than 2 pics to their submissions at this point because they get the votes anyway
I feel like it's a disservice to both the author and the people voting for him when an author cannot be bothered to fully showcase his work. At the risk of throwing someone under a bus (And me catching flak yet again) let's take a winner of the CS2 as an example, the Puncture Shot:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=765706575
One (Rather pointless) video and 3 screenshots, it shows no mods at all. The weapon looks cool so people upvote it (Myself included, I'm guilty here too). Then the weapon comes out and what happens? You mod it so it uses different parts than the ones shown here and practically all the mods end up BLACK and lose all the cool details from the version shown here, and we're all disappointed now just like the people at facepunch when the CS2 came out. The sights also have some metallic effects that heavily clashes with the overall weapon's look.
All of this could've been prevented if the author had decided to upload more pics. Now that I check the comments, I was exactly the first one to ask him for more screenshots all the way back to September 20th and he didn't get the mods for the weapon in two months nor could be bothered to at least install goonmod and just outright buy them. Heck, one can even use continental coins for them since quite a while now too! The decision of even creating a skin you don't have most mods for is already quite weird to begin with.
Thanks for all of this, I noticed the second point before I read this, the last two weapons I uploaded have the condition labeled.
About the rest of your points, I'll work on that and thank you, again, now I'll take several screens at the workshop part and just a few on the loadout screen.
And I'll ask you a favor: if you see any of my skins and have an opinion about what to change/add/whatever, just do it, I won't rage, any feedback is welcome, just as Comand did with the Thunder skin.
