How do I add workship skins to my in game?

I see this add to collection option on a ton of submissions but I'm not sure if it adds them in game. How do I add the workshop skins to make them availble in game?

Only took googling "use skins ingame payday2 mod" ;P

Note: Its prone to crashing your game and not recomended to just play with the skins you make

For your selfmade skins use the mod Rex suggested. But i think you want to know how to get skins (from other users) from the workshop into the game. The answer is you dont. The only way to get those skins ingame is when ovk chooses them for a Community Safe. But you can upvote them and hope they'll make it in the safe.

You can't use other peoples skins until they get accepted for the game. It work like counter strikes workshop in which you vote for the skins you want in game and the devs (I believe) make the final decision on what gets up in game. You are just going to have to vote and hope the skins you want get put into the game.
