Mods not working

I, as well as a good handful of others, have been unable to use mods. No matter what I seem to do, when I download and enable them on the launcher, they are no where to be seen when in the game. This is not just on my side, this is some form of bug, my question is, how do I fix it, but more importantly, if the devs know about it, and if so, when will it be fixed.

Hello Holo Spice i have been in contact with support and as of now they have just been asking me to do the same thing over and over and have now not replied to me in a while but this is what they told me to do

1. Make sure your mods are downloading and check your " mod " folder to see if they are there.
2. If they are there and still not working try turning off your anti virus.
3. If this does not work delete the Mod folder and restart steam.

NOTE: None of these have worked for me but perhaps they can work for you.
