Is there any way to remove the immersion destroying spear/sword/gun/monster icon graphic's that ruin the look of the banner's in battle?

Also, what nut-bar thought that idea up?

..and who told um it was a good idea or helpful at all?

See the big giant thing with horns? MONSTER

See the guns in the hands of that unit that looks like a unit that has guns? GUN

See all em spear's in the hands of that obviously not a sword unit? SPEAR

See the swords in the hands of the units not carrying pikes or halberds? SWORD

..so on and so forth...

I mean if you play zoomed out you are not only ruining the spirit of the game for yourself and missing the coolest part of a TW game, you are also being a completely artificial Command and Conquer ♥♥♥♥♥ about gameplay, just so you can brag about how easily you can win. It's not chess or connect four.

Immersion is the point and.. screw it, mounted units can't dismount and they sold out for "real" canon dweebs in the name of desktop similarity (in a virtual environment that has physic's and is perfectly capable of allowing a rider to step off a horse, where that is childish) so it's already ruined.

By the CA's rational, they should just make cartoony unit stickers for the models at table top conventions to make them look goofy too.

Just in case they forgot it was all make-believe after all the passion filled hours painting and assembling them in their basements and garages.
