Anyone out there able to assist a new mod creator with a couple of seemingly simple questions?
Hello anyone out there. I've recently began modding the first TW Warhammer, and have quite a bit figured out. I do have a couple of questions, however, that I am wondering if someone may already know the answer to.

1. I've been practicing with creating new heroes/agents, and I have been able to produce a couple fully functional ones after quite a bit of trial and error in PFM. My question regarding custom hero/agents is about the portrait. So far, the only way to get the correct agent portrait to appear in the campaign is by replacing the portrait_ph.png file located in one of the default folders. I can't remember off the top of my head which one it is. Naturally, this only gives you the option to create a common portrait for however many hero/agents you wish to create for a certain faction. Has anyone discovered how to circumvent this?

2. I would've thought this would be an easy one, but maybe I'm just missing something. Let's say I created a relatively basic unit to place in the game, and wished to give the unit the capability to raise dead. I've used both the land to unit..... abilities ordeal, and took some attempts at the special ability tables as well. I can get these abilities to appear in custom battles no problem, but absolutely will not appear in the campaign. Two parts to this one:

- Do I have to create new abilities without effects/upgrades enabled in order to get units to utilize them in the campaign, or

- Do these custom units acquire these abilities upon leveling up to the skill level of the ability/spell?

I don't believe the latter works, for I've tested a unit up to 3 bronze chevrons to no avail. I've noticed that I've been able to carry some passive abilities and one unit ability over. I'm sure I'll uncover it in testing soon enough, but I was just wondering if anyone else came across this issue already, and knew the answer.

Any input out there would be greatly appreciated.
