Use Guts to check the Affix files inside this mod:

Thanks for the links but alas they did not work. I was trying to make some new socketable items very similar to D2 jewels (seems to be a popular request) that rolled random stats that were based on the D2 jewels (same prefixes and everything). I was able to make the affixes and get them to roll on the item when I have the unit window open in guts. I even used the exact files from that mod and achieved the same results. The affixes roll in the editor window but once I load up the game the items drop with no stats on them. That mods does seem very similar to what I was attempting though so might have to use that. I am in the process of trying to create a D2 complete pack and thought that jewels would be nice to add to it.

I wanted to thank you for your help steffire3! I finally figured out what was wrong and have fixed the issue. Hope to have a test build done by end of next week!

Can you share how you fixed the issue? I may decide to mod affixes into gems one day.

Apparently based on the way the game handles sockets they have to have to list the unittypes for the enchant you are using.

It's very confusing once I am finished I'll try to get a video up explaining it for others that might want to play around with it. I kept digging around and found a really old forum post somewhere about it but still couldn't make sense of it because it just sounded crazy but it magically worked. I guess technically this would also work.
