All-Keyboard Interface

After putting in some time on this game, and loving it, I really feel it would benefit from an elegant, keystroke-only interface option.

The current key bindings are insufficient to play the game in its entirety - you cannot select cards from elevated choices (fight win, choose-a-[discard/upgrade/exhaust], etc), and so on. Additionally, there are no hotkeys at all for a variety of key interface options, such as potions.

1 - Is the current mod API sufficient for this to be a mod, or is developer support required?
2 - Interest level?

I don't know much about modding but i feel like it'd be doable, that being said, this isn't the place where you'll get much of a response. Reddit, Discord, etc... are more likely to give results.
