5 makes the game easier to keep track of, but not really easier.
2 makes things easier.
Honestly I'd nerf preparation to make overwatch stronger. Whenever reinforcements are incoming I don't bother with overwatch because 1. they could have lightning reflexes and 2. don't know which door they're coming through and I just do prep instead so that I'll get to act sooner and survive if I don't.
I'd seperate out preparation into a thing that raises the unit in turn order vs a hunker down action that raises defense, rather than having it be both. In that case I'd start considering overwatch.
For 5, You mean Stupor, verge's ability? Subdue is the guaranteed hit that knocks enemies unconscious I thought.
Personally think it's fine since it's not turn ending. There's weaker characters than Verge in the game.
I'd also like a mod to silence party banter and Whisper. Can't stand Whisper and Terminal while I enjoy the rest of the writing.
