Essential Mods
1) Color coded actions. Free actions (grenades) will be in green, turn ending moves (shooting, overwatch, Gremlin Jolt) in yellow, and single action moves (Stupor, Hack) in blue.

2) Dumb Overwatch. With enemy reinforcements coming in from 4 possible spots, we need the ability to tell our agents to shoot at the first thing that moves.

3) Show me the stats. What is each enemies base stats? If an enemy is flashbanged, what exactly is the aim penalty? What about poison? What does that Duel move used by the Praetorians do?

4) Action pips. We need to see how many moves we have left, even if we are moving one at a time.

5) Reliable Stupor. Verge's stupor ability should stun for two actions, period; otherwise it becomes impossible to keep track. This could be balanced by lowering Subdue's chance to hit (it's currently 100 percent. Even a drop to 90 or 85 would be a major blow.

Modders, you guys turned XCOM 2 into the greatest game ever! I cant wait to see what you do with Chimera Squad. Thank you.

Vigilo. Confido.

Those things would make the game way easier.

1,3 and 4 are just information
5 makes the game easier to keep track of, but not really easier.
2 makes things easier.

agree 1, 3 and 4.

Honestly I'd nerf preparation to make overwatch stronger. Whenever reinforcements are incoming I don't bother with overwatch because 1. they could have lightning reflexes and 2. don't know which door they're coming through and I just do prep instead so that I'll get to act sooner and survive if I don't.
I'd seperate out preparation into a thing that raises the unit in turn order vs a hunker down action that raises defense, rather than having it be both. In that case I'd start considering overwatch.

For 5, You mean Stupor, verge's ability? Subdue is the guaranteed hit that knocks enemies unconscious I thought.
Personally think it's fine since it's not turn ending. There's weaker characters than Verge in the game.

Definitely agree with 1.
I'd also like a mod to silence party banter and Whisper. Can't stand Whisper and Terminal while I enjoy the rest of the writing.
