Hi

You only need to subscribe the mods , they appear in game after that without you need any tutorials

Make sure you have the right Dlc's requested for mod show up correct

Cheers

Many mods pages tell where the mods spawn , so you will need to search the mods on those places mentioned , like junkyard , salon , etc

Note that some mods are limited to few places and you need to look for them in the places mentioned

After you look the cars in the places mentioned and they still not show up , try to restart steam and verify your game files integrity , sometimes doing it solve most of the issues with games

Look in the showroom.... if they are there they are in the game.

Hi All,
I asked this question elsewhere but got no reply that helped, I too sub'd to several mods, they showed in game while "on line" but when I played "offline" next day they were gone, so I re sub'd downloaded etc., but when I tried to use them later they were gone. My question is; do the mods in this game only allow one to use them while you are connected to the internet. All other games I have that use mods can use them "on" or "off line" once they are downloaded & installed. An answer will be appreciated, thanks All.

mods only show up when you are online. this is from what I understand an antipiracy measure.

Sometimes it is necessary to download (subscribe) to mod without CMS running. Start new game, save, exit. Then restart new game from Steam icon as opposed to the CMS icon. That way Steam will download your latest saves along with starting your game. From that point forward all cars game based and mods should be available to you regardless of your online status with Steam.

Once Steam saves a game session (name you chose for game session) it will load all files for that session upon the next game start. Be sure you start the same session or select continue for the same session (name) that you saved previously.

Example:
Location for all CMS cars game or mod in Windows 10

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018\cms2018_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars
