Need help with a pattern!
I am having trouble with a pattern to appear. Its there but is not as vissible as I would like it. I had changed the pattern gradient to blue, and it showed up. I changed it back to black and I am able to see it upclose. Do I change the pattern gradient to another color or is there something wrong with my pattern?

This skin is not going to be uploaded, I just wanted to make a skin similar to the wooden one, but more of a red wood.

Hope that helps @DerSushy.exe
hmm, can't really see an issue with it. you could try to make the pattern a bit brighter

Looks like you had the red layer set up wrong for what you wanted, you need to only edit the red channel and set it to 255.
Edit: partly the problem, Ill come back later and send you a fixed copy of the pattern and gradient.

edit edit: Had a bunch of trouble with your pattern but from the looks of it your green layer was only looking for 1 color and your red layer was cutting out the darker part of the pattern making it not so much wooden and picking up your base gradient.
You need to make the green channel look up 0-255 light to dark or dark to light depending on your pattern gradient and have 255 in the red channel or else it cuts out your pattern and shows base gradient, not the best for skins.
I also noticed the blue channel was backwards making dark parts reflect more light than lighter parts, works the opposite way irl because dark absorbs light.

Thanks @Rex for telling me what was wrong. I greatly appreciate it! I'll try to figure something out to mess with the pattern.
