Companion workshop

Hi I subscribed a companion workshop "mod". I tried it but even if I restart the game it won't work. I Liked the idea to improve companions inventory and gears. ( I must admit I tried also with other mods, out from workshop but with no video I suck, even download any Story modules is out of my league...). So my question: can I give stuff to companion with the mod or is not supposed? Thank

Even without modding, you can manage a companion's inventory in SoU, HotU and virtually every other campaign, including fan-made, except the OC.

I imagine the OC could be modded that way, too.

I don't know which mod you tried, but a common fix for Steam Workshop items is to move the files from the Steam Workshop folder to the corresponding subfolders in Documents.
