Playing total conversion mod, "Crypt of the Mushroom Dancer," but the default music tracks are in the game

Hello, new player here, playing on PC:

I Subscribed to "Crypt of the Mushroom Dancer," a total conversion mod for CotND. I see the graphics have changed, but the music hasn't. The mod comes with a long list of Mario inspired tracks.

Is there something special I have to do to get the music to play for total conversion mods? I know how to play custom songs from my hard drive individually, but not for a mod.
