Hello, does anyone know of or would think of making a mod that would allow an alternate career option, one that allows you to start unaffiliated and starts you off with randomized mechs, say pulling from a pool of non-hero and Lostec mechs for a total starting tonnage about equal to the others, about 125? Also combined with a change to the reputation system, where no negative rep is incurred for taking missions against a faction, perhaps offset by a slower rep gain for the faction fighting for?

It would be a simple adjustment to create another playthrough option I think, but one that allows for a more relaxed and interesting play through as a straight freelancer.
