tonnage for mission removal
Modders out there, I need to know if tonnage for mission can be upped or removed. I Never played by tonnage in the table top or in the Battletech game (Removed it, mods)

The mod is currently being updated, since the DLC broke almost all of the mods.

Do not expect anything soon. Most of the old modders have moved on to other projects and updates are going to take full re works.

It's also false. The only modder who's "moved on" in any appreciable way is Navid, who lost his source files IRL due to a hard drive crash or something like that. And yes, he did do the first big mechlab mod, true, but Merctech for one is a mod that also adds more customization to the lab and is still actively being worked on by MagnumGB, its author.

Oh. Guess I'm just used to the general misunderstanding of the modmakers' community's intentions or actions circulating the forums, assumed you were worried about that.

Tonage limit is something I never was a big fan of unless it's actually relevent to a quest / mission in which case it is supposed to be a challenge. But otherwise... yeah with you there. Normal missions shouldnt have a ton limit but it;s still to get creative though sometimes that means just soloing a mission with my Night Star or whatever.

It works for existing saves, just doesn't update contracts that were already generated and loaded from a save. If you move away and come back, it usually fixes those. Story missions still have a tonnage limit, though.

The no tonnage limit mod actually ups the tonnage to 400+tons after you get through the training missions if you are doing those.

after a while, it seems, it ups the tonnage even more; kindof like the modder added a multiplier to the existing limit so as to allow for the heaviest units you could get.

not sure why the 1k ton limit at this point since max is 400. my guess is maybe modder is trying to make it work on the campaign / story missions

I have the epic version of the game, is there a "standalone" version of the mod?

Works with the DLC it seems. Old one crashed, this one does not.

Does not need a fresh start you can fly away from a zone you have missions in and fly back and it will work.
