I've been playing Torchlight 2 since 2013 and have tried many mods over the years but ultimately like a close to vanilla experience with only a few things changed, but one of these things that keeps me from coming back is playing the story again.

I know Synergies has an alternative leveling method with the Ember Steps and Selrock and allows you to skip around towns but it also allows changes a lot of things I don't want nor do I want the endgame it boasts.

My question is if there's any mod that will allow me to go to other towns from the beginning and level in an alternate way without having to play the story to get to the endgame? Has this ever been done outside of Synergies?

If not, I guess that could be a mod request; a way to alternatively level and do bounties/varieties/dungeons to level until I'm ready to go to Mapworks. I just have played through the game enough to burn out the moment I hit act 2 and would like something different.
