Priority on transmutations?
I was playing with transmutating rejuvenation potions. Torchlight Essentials does it right, prioritizing the rejuvenation potions above just upgrading health or mana potions. When you switch around with a stack of mana and health potions there is a clear priority happening that determines what is crafted. How do I find that? How do I put them in some sort of prioritized list?

I'll ask the Torch Modders Discord and see if they know how this would be made...

... and it's hard-coded hence no known method on how to change this:

[7:48 PM] Kva3imoda: well - more complex recipes have higher priority

[7:51 PM] Kva3imoda: for example: you can break "item A" and get 2 * "item B", or combine 3* "item A" and get "item C". If you put 30 "Item A" into transmutation you will always get "Item C"

[7:52 PM] Kva3imoda: Because the second recipe 3*Item A = 1 Item C ismore complicated

[7:56 PM] Kva3imoda: As far as I remember, if the ingredients are the same, then the priority is selected in the sort order.

[7:57 PM] Kva3imoda: for example: 2xItem A + Item B = Item C and Item A + 2xItemB = Item D

[7:59 PM] Kva3imoda: When you put 3xItem A and 3xItemB in a transmuter, which recipe has priority?

[8:00 PM] steffire: D? I assume because it's "higher" on the recipe list?

[8:01 PM] Kva3imoda: as far as I remember, a recipe with a higher sort priority has a higher priority

[8:01 PM] Kva3imoda: recipe A > recipe B

[8:02 PM] Kva3imoda: Mega Sword > Super Sword

[8:03 PM] steffire: Is the priority list hard-coded? Ultimately I would have to inform the questioner because they seem to want to mod this aspect specifically?

[8:05 PM] Kva3imoda: Well I don't know a way to change the hard-coded priority

[8:08 PM] steffire: I'm very glad you explained in great detail how the priority functions. I feel this shall benefit me if someone ever asks me this again. Thanks Kva!
