I don't normally do this but today I was reported by a 'developer'
Over 5 weeks ago we received a goodbye from Ballistic Interactive. This post pats them on the back while blaming us for their failure, be it down to poor wording, just bad management or lack respect for the community. To the vast majority of the community, it was an insult. To hear how something you have invested money into something that has promise is just giving up because the money isn't rolling in as expected. Not because of time or pressure, nothing more than its not making enough cash. Basically, it's like a baker messing up his first cake before he has even opened his doors, are people going to come to his bakery when the first impression is a burned smaller saltier version of what he promised to the bank manager? Is the bank manager going to take it's the customers fault as an answer for loaning him so much money? I highly doubt it
EA is not there to make a profit for you, if you chose to take our money and not put it back into your product that's on you, NOT US. Ballistic Interactive did nothing with this project for years and expected the community to keep sales going by word of mouth. After starting a fire in the community and letting it burn, they give us a small amount of content of which according to their last post was not going to happen.
Before Ballistic Interactive decided to be so generous and 'finish' there own game as I said a fire was started over 160 comments and posts and not one from Ballistic Interactive. There are a few supporters of Ballistic Interactive which is fine people are entitled to their own opinion AS I AM MINE and one person who seems fanatically obsessed with Ballistic Interactive they have done no wrong they are gods anyone who doesn't agree is a *** **** or some other childish name, I ask this person, do you own the game? to calm down lets talk about the game and not just go name calling, someone else states this person is a troll I respond with he could just be having a bad day, the troll never responds to my questions or anyone else about the game just more insults saying we are childish crybabies ect. For some people feeling sad and some people feeling robbed he would often edit his posts or delete them entirely once again never responding to a question about the game
I finally had enough and asked him to leave if he could not talk like an adult.
In the post about the small amount of content this same troll is seen again calling out the community this time on a new thread but again same kind of names calling out anyone who didn't blindly support Ballistic interactive's decision to cut and run. There is no 2 ways around ' where are all the spoilt crybaby nancies now' that is one human calling out another group of humans.
I respond to another person who said well done to BI, I said do not lower your self to their level and proceeded with paragraphs about how rude lazy and unprofessional BI are for abandoning this project before it came to fruition, I also quote the troll saying ' I'm here you coward' (a theme from the previous thread)
A few hours later I received a report stating I am removed and blocked from the discussion, the reason? because I was goading players into an off topic argument...how how am I goading this creature when he actively called people out? If they had bothered to interact with there own posts they would know technically its totally on topic more to the fact it's a response, you cant respond to a non existent treat now can you? (unless your a first world government that is) however Ballistic Interactive response was that of the KGB not the modern world
How can a development team be supportive of toxic trolls people who have never once said anything about the game other than insulting it's community. It makes me wonder if I had split up my posts one responding to the innocent person, one bullet pointing how BI is run by a bunch of thieves and liars and one calling out the troll
which one would they have chosen to remove?
I don't know what makes BI think they have the right to remove my freedom of speech, a crooked game company trying to silence one of its BILL PAYERS because I hit upon a nerve? or is the troll one of the dev's personal accounts (likely) Personally, I'd appreciate my money back before you release the product. Since you don't feel the need to abide by the rules of EA. Up until this point I am an investor according to yourselves and I have every right to pull support from a failing company ESPECIALLY A failing fascist company who thinks its okay to blame it's customers for their lack of effort.
