change default mesh from female or male to a custom one with blender
hello, sorry for the inconvenience, I'm trying to put custom meshes in keshi. I import the mesh into blender, and I also have kenshi's blender template. what I am looking for is to replace the mesh of the female that comes with the kenshi blender template project, replace that mesh with the custom one that I have already created separately. I import the mesh and remove the project default and match the bones to the new mesh. I would like if someone could show me or teach me the correct procedure that I should follow, or a way to make the template mesh change to the custom mesh shape, I have been looking for guides but there is no one to help me, if you know a guide or even if there is a guide on this discord please pass it to me. I speak Spanish so I use the google translator. Sorry if I have misspellings.

If you have made the custom mesh using the vanilla skeleton(armature), all you need to do, is
1) include the mesh with your mod, inside a character/meshes/female_skeleton folder.
2) create a new race and paste the link to your mesh on the race file.

If you did not make the mesh using vanilla skeleton, or the mesh is made by a third party, you need to first rig it to the vanilla skeleton. As Kenshi uses I pose as a base instead of a T pose, any armature that use T pose will not work.

It is also very important that the armature bones are named exactly the same as in vanilla.

Also note, the mesh and the default skeleton must be exported together (click mesh first, hold shift and click skeleton) or the animations will not function.
