At the moment i have no intention of bringing them back and if i bring them back, it won't be on the steam workshop.
The developer himself created a few videos on how to mod for megaquarium:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eJnDDQMnKw&t=13s
I know it's not scenery, but modding scenery is a bit easier, no need for animations, coding for animations and so on.
Start with simple stuff and once you get more familiar with modding and coding for megaquariym go to the more advanced things.
Oof :( those were easily some of my favourite mods. Edit: I checked the discord and I totally understand why you removed them. It's just a shame because they were game-changing in the best way for me, personally. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, if you ever decide to bring them back in any way, I'll be the first one at the door. :)
Thank you for the helpful link btw!
I really appreciated those mods while they were around, and if I actually manage to figure out how to mod, I'll credit you for the inspiration and any designs I'm able to replicate.
I dont have discord, so i cannot check what happened. So I don't know your reasons, but is your decision afterall.
Just for you to know, your mods were really cool. Sad to see them gone.
The long story short of it is a lot of people are being very demanding and it's understandably super frustrating on top of having to fix the mods if/when they break due to game patches.
thanks, i will copy what i wrote down on the discord here so others who also don't have discord can see what i wrote and my reasons:
Ok, so i grow more then tired of a certain translator disrespecting my preferences on how i want to handle my mods.
Actually i starting to grow more then tired of this community in total.
Let me be clear i'm not blaming everyone of the community.
However ever since i started modding with the focus on scenery (since we got plenty of amazing fish modders) i have regular people annoying me with requests.
No matter how much i release i keep getting requests and even demands for scenery.
This especially happend when i released bigger mods like my rock backgrounds, custom rocks, building kits and especially the modular tanks.
These requests and demands have happends through PM's on discords, comments on my mods and my tutorials (i have deleted quite a few since they don't belong there) and even friend requests just to ask for more mods. Instead of trying to mod themselves they simply decide to annoy/harass me with the constant requests/demands.
I have my own personal issues and modding was a means of escape, to relax, yet due to all this i simply feel demotivated to even finish most of my projects.
Thus i reached my limit and in a fit of rage i made it that my mods currently aren't accessible on the workshop.
I do apologize for those who are nice and kind that they can't access my mods but right now i just feel too tired/annoyed with those within the community that pushed me to this moment.
It's such a shame when people don't support gifted creators like yourself. I'm so sorry you had such an awful experience. Be well.
Check out nexus mods! Rick was kind enough to put some of his mods back up for download over there :)
