Crime and Police
This game is amazing but when we get to a point, it becomes pointless. If crime was an issue, that would add an interesting dynamic to the game. I wish i know how to develope it myself.

This was suggest already a few times. But the way the game was build there is no way to make it possible

The only way we could potentially add a form of crime would be to make a building called "criminal hideout", with "criminal" workers in it and that generates unhappiness around it to simulate the effect the crime rate would have on people.
Making a prison with "prisoners" as workers would be the counter for it I suppose.
The biggest issue would be that with the way the AI calcualte who gets which job, you'd have a totally random rotation of workers. Some random builder might end up a criminal one season, and a farmer turn into a prisonner while a previous criminal turns into a fisherman...

Couldn't you treat crime like a disease. And when someone is a criminal, they would be locked to a "criminal" career until caught by police.

Nopes. People with the "Criminal" disease would either head to the hospital or stand in front of their house till cured. The modkit doesn't let us change how people behave, so it would act like any other sickness.
