REQUEST - Couples moving out
Would it be possible for someone to make a mod so that if there is an empty house and there is a male and a female of age living with their parents and such, that they move in together.

Like, I've figured out out the building houses at the right time technique to get a steady population, I make sure that I have a good ammount of couples, build a house, and then one single person moves in. It;s so annoying. I need to make sure theres a guarantee that a couple will move in.

Also if you could keep the 1 year is one year mod in mind so that if you had both mods on they would work together. A couple is 6 instead of 12 in that mod (I think it's 12. I haven't played without the 1:1 mod in a while) that would be amazing and I will love for forever. :shelterfrog:

Can't touch the part of the AI that decides who gets the houses sadly.

It's part of the little things that make Banished a challenge, paying attention tot he house / family situation. A tonwhall helps a lot as you can see both of those numbers there.

It's flawed when you use 1 year is 1 year though, as it bases its calculations on who is eligible to start a family on base game ages I think. It probably won't see those younger people as eligible and might not see them when calculating the number of "families" for the stats, despite seeing them when actually creating the families

The mod RealTimeAging sets that age at 16 or 17 if I remember right, so it's biased the other way around: The game will count students as being able to move out and start a family with an adult like in the base game while in reality the student will stay with the parents till reaching that 16 or 17 age.

(I personally prefer RTA over 1 year is 1 year.)

neverminddd.. Had a look on the 1:1 mod. They become students/labourers at age 6 but move out at age 7 haha! I shouldn't have a problem now :P

But yeah it's a nice challenge trying to balance out the housing. If you build too many houses then singles move in and you won't have a steady flow of new generations, but if you have too many people then population gets too high and food becomes a problem (althought that isn't an issue with the 1:1 mod :))
