Air waypoint

Is there any mod to create an air waypoint?
There is a mountain between the two cities, and the only valuable transportation option is an airplane. But planes can't fly over mountains because of altitude restrictions, they just fly over them. It looks very silly. need some help with this.

I doubt there is a way to mod this

Maybe add an extra airport at the desired midpoint of the route? It would lose money and cost time for planes to land and take off again. Also, you might be able to replace one or both connected airports in order to change the direction they take off and land in, it might be enough to force the route around rather than through the obstacle.

Unfortunately there is no such mod for this yet. I agree something like this, or the ability to detect and avoid terrain and collision-enabled assets, would be useful.

Another workaround would be to decrease the height of the mountains until the planes could fly over the mountains rather than ramming through it.
