How do I upload my AoW4 mod to Steam Workshop?

I found out how to upload an AoW4 mod to the Steam Workshop: It is done with the AoW4 Launcher, where there is an upload button under "All installed mods".

Before you do that, it is helpful to make a copy of the the thumbnail.png file from the meta_data directory and put that copy into the main directory, where the .acp file of your mod is.
