Just purchased, do I use WotC mods or original ones?

I have a few mods I wanted to download to play this game.. I am seeing some mods are the same, but one is for the original game and one is for WotC..

I just purchased every dlc for Xcom2, I am curious, do I just download the WotC mods now? Or.. is WotC an additional campaign so I would download WotC after playing through the original perhaps?

XCOM 2 is a light version of XCOM 2 War of the Chosen. No sense playing XCOM 2. Play XCOM 2 WotC.

After that, when you add mods, save yourself a lot of hgeartache, go to github, download, and use the Alternative Mod Launcher. It will also tell you in a column to its own if a mod is for original or WotC. Not to mention it can fully see and launch all mods from workshop and the 2K launcher doesnt for most people.
