Taking a page from no mans sky - Mod Inquiry
If you have played no man sky then you know how easy it easy to teleport around because every system has Space Station that allows trade and teleportation making it much easier getting to your base or home planet not to mention it moves your ship with you to your current solar system and keeps track of the space stations you have discovered. Is there a way to have a mod do this or a already existing one available?

In vanilla you can TP to your ship as far as you're not deep underground and don't have background blocks in survival. From there you can TP everywhere you bookmarked, as far as the bookmarked beacon is intact.

With mods you can get back to your ship everywhere, start casual and add hunger. You have non breakabke teleporters, that means it will stay where you put it, or emergency teleporter that is one time use and have to craft again.

Your ship won't move by itself and as far I know nothing change that, but it act as a hub here.

There used to be a tracking system in beta where you could see they way you traveled in the star map. Don't know if mods add this back.
You can bookmark locations in the star map and use it to travel back to previously visited places. Don't if people really use it, flags are pretty cheap.

I was wanting a mod that would allow me to get around the universe easier like it does on no mans sky, I really dont want to have to go to every moon and planet to put a flag/teleporter on it to come back to it later or having to bring my ship all the way back just seems cumbersome. why not just stream line it would make the game more appealing and chill

Don't know No mans sky, apart by name. You can skip planets once you have what you need and moons are all the same, unless you play moded.
The game is coded this way and didn't get any update (even any news) for years, so don't expect any change by the dev.
There is community project trying to fix and improve the game called OpenStarbound, they have GuitHub page and a Discord, though I think they are mostly trying to improve performances, but you could suggest it to them.
