Tips for creating MP-Maps
I see many Maps upcomming and i would like to play some in Multiplayer, but because this Game as well as most Maps aren't optinized for it (Multiplayer).

So I just want to tell some tips "how to reduce lags" and "how to balanc your map", for those who are interessted in makeing MP playable Maps for everyone.

  1. Do not create giant Maps.
    - it will lag pretty hard, and will be unplayable after ~20 minutes.
  2. Do not place more then 5 Portals
    - 4 Portals have a Population Capazity of 110 and you reach it between 2-3 hours. Furthermore it will lag the ♥♥♥♥ out of it.
  3. Do not place too much shrines of the same typ.
    - especially Mana shrines. It will make things extremly unbalance.
  4. Use mirroring.
    Nothing is more annoying as a disadvatage on 1 side.
  5. 4 player Maps will lag after a short amount of time
    - reduce the size of the map and only place 1 portal for each Underlord.
  6. If you do not want to create a Rush Map:
    6.1 - Personally, I like to put a River between the Underlords.
    6.2 - But also a Wall of Strong Blocks (Augrum Walls or Rock Walls) can reduce the Rush Time.
    6.4 - an Emperial Fortess in the Middle could make a Rush unattractive
    6.5 - Create a detours
    6.6 - Place a Objective of Interesst in a different direction to the other Unddrlord
  7. 3Player Maps needs Math to balance
    - that's why it's really hard to create them. So thank Marados for his 3Player Maps
  8. Creat a Map around 65x65
    - Otherwise this map will very likly lag, but it depends on Map Design.
  9. Surround the Dungeon Core with Fortyfied Tiles
