Idea for a map but not sure how to make it.
One side of the map is an entire hotel with glass windows, filled with enemies. About 200-400 meters on the other side of the map are two of your black ops armed with sniper rifles. In the hotel are your 2 undercover agents trying to nab a recruiting officer at a recruitment event happening at the hotel. Between the hotel and the rooftop snipers is dead space cause this takes place several stories in the air, but I can't figure out how, if it is possible to cut out the ground between the rooftop snipers and the hotel. Is that possible to do?

Here's the briefing, hopefully it should give you enough context to get at what I'm trying to do.



Intel has discovered a cell recruiting future terrorists in conference rooms in the downtown Marriotte Hotel.

All our assets are busy tracking down the owners, staff and guests of these recruitment conferences while there is a meeting hosted there tonight.

You're the only asset in the area able to party-crash this recruitment drive, so get down there and set up a plan to abduct of the head of recruitment, an officer there tonight to drum up some future suicide-bombers for the cause.

There is a building tall enough to look into the 6th floor of that hotel 2 blocks away. The wind tonight will be calm but it's still a long shot, so bring your most accurate sniper rifles to this op.

Your two agents should be able to mix in with the attendees to get in close enough. Use your snipers to clear out as many hostiles as possible, then use your agents to force him to the scaffolding at the back of the building. Avoid the elevator and the stairs, it will be an avenue for reinforcements. There will be a getaway van waiting in the parking structure next door.

Do not kill any of the attendees. They may be itching for a chance to blow up GI Joe, but they are not suicide bombers just yet.

Schematics show that there should be a fusebox waiting for someone to break it, but hotel security might stop you. We don't know if they're in on the take but the ROE is clear, if they try to stop you, drop them.

Ok, I kind of figured it out. Sorry.

I am curious how to black out the ground? Like cut the map off so you're unable to see the ground?

It's not too hard to do, especially if both of your playable areas are (on) buildings only.

Find the "roof" tool under buildings, and build a roof area around both the left and the right playable area. Then delete the 2 light sources for outdoor lighting on the top left area of your map (autogenerated): Light ambient (keep the one that has "is for indoors" ticked obviously), and light directional.
