Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Scenario
After I began looking into some infectious diseases, I found CWD, a little beauty that causes behavioral changes, weight loss, rapid muscle degeneration, and eventually death. I'm working on making a scenario where it has mutated to transfer to humans, with additional abilities. Would the community be interested in this, and what symptoms, transmissions, and abilities would you like to see this scenario have?

I would love to be involed in this one. I would like to see like an event going "Weight loss pill works" and that could be a transmission "Pill" :ecapsule:

I would like to be involved too. How about a symptom that causes rapid hair loss? :steamhappy:

I could see about that. "Pathogen attaches to herbal medicines. Increases infectivity and reduces severity." I'll have to work out how to do events though, they seem more complex then the rest of the steps.

"Pathogen collects in hair roots, causing hair to fall out in clumps. Increases severity. Infectivity increased in urban enviroments, decreased in rural enviroments." How's that sound?

I love it! <3
Glad you two like it. I have gotten the pill transmission and event set up and am currently building the symptom tree now.

It's a boy with a few of the symptoms that I've put into the scenerio.

I do wonder if such an image is good, partially because of the fact that it doesn't rapresent too well the disease aside for the lack of hairs, unless that stare is supposed to be an insane one, but to me it just looked like it got demorfed by the lack of nutrients. Speaking of it, it wasn't like I was expecting, simply because, aside for change in behavoir, what you wrote here cannot be evolved while playing(and I took the muscle degeneration as its most important trait, for that matter). I in fact expected that the disease would revolve around muscle degeneration, but whatever. Also you mistyped at the starting pop-up and at the bleeding eyes symptom

Thanks for the heads up on the typos and some errors in symptoms. I felt that the tree was lacking something, but I couldn't remember. Will add some things in.
