From what ive heard from them, they are often quite afraid to introduce drastic changes although they know it could potentially be better, Because they too are afraid of breaking some of their favorite community levels :P
You should be able to find the workshop levels in
"C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\My Games\Distance\Levels\WorkshopLevels"
Then move the .bytes file to MyLevels folder in
"C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\My Games\Distance\Levels\"
Now it should be editable in the editor when you launch the game next time.
But you have to restart the game if its running while you do this!
Idk about uploading/updating it again, as ive never tried it myself. But im assuming its going to register it as a brand new level. In which case i recommend removing the old one to avoid having duplicates on the workshop ;)
Hope that helped!
EDIT: i think the workshop discussions is the right place for this :)
Thanks for the info, I already thought that I would have to make a new entry.
I mean if the level was kinda new and not that popular I would do that.. but that's not the case
And fixing everything would mean a lot of work and I'm not even sure how popular new workshop-entries are atm.. So maybe some time in the future (right before release or sth.)
