Medicinal Grow Plots or Hydroponics ?!?
Any way to get Medicinal grow plots or hydroponics added in ? Be nice if there was a sand grow plot for Thorn, or the hydro plot for the water ones. Could that be modded in or would it have to be something the Devs do ?

It's up to you which sprouts you put in the grow plots, for medecine sprouts to craft you will need 'Alien' type plants mostly found in deep waters. Plan a lot of time to get a fair amount...
You are better off and faster to simply buy medecines - or med sprouts, med packs, injections or pills at the vendors. Spend your credits, it's there for a reason.

In my plays I will craft medecines in the late stage of the game to get rid of the many items I have (thorns etc., yeah), I see no need to do it early, as said, that would require a lot of grinding and time involved. It's easier to install med equipments in your bases or ships instead of carrying lots of meds.
Early in the game an infection will cause you to die, so avoid getting too close to creatures. You can craft Bandages in your survival constructor but they will only restore your health, not protect you from diseases.

It takes more than just plants to make advanced medicines. Go through the templates, see what other things you might consider storing a few of in your input fridge. Alien bits, promethium pellets, pentaxid, and nitrocellulose all have their uses.

RE2, I can smash exteriors of POI just fine. Medical gear in HV, CV, etc when I need it and shower for rads.
But if I have to go inside on foot, its god mode. I don't care, its single player, and mechs / turrets spawning behind me that can shoot through walls and kill me in under 4 seconds is not my idea of "fun". Broken limbs, bleed, and three other status effects that rapidly DOT kill me if I escape/kill the mech/turret/ambush faster than I can even search inventory for a cure I probably don't have is also not rewarding. Don't even have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shield on foot to go Halo/Mass Effect style shoot from cover mode with either.
I just craft bandages, the only thing I can actually farm as everything else requires some inane ingredient(s) I can't grow, reasonably farm, and in some cases have never even seen outside of random ultrarare loot in hundreds of hours. I buy what I can, but after my main plot payout from Polaris dried up I have no idea how to get credits outside of shoot-n-loot, which is by far my least favorite gameplay aspect.

Reforged Eden has most of the standard medicinal ingredients all available either as plant form, or can be synthesized from plants and common materials.

Thanks all. I just thought it be cool if we could grow some of these things instead of running around gathering them. Buying them is always an option but I like to save up for advanced kits and other things that are hard to get playing solo. God Mode is always an option but thats more of a getting out of a death loop before I rage quit thing.
If you're playing RE2, then you can grow them. The seeds are in the food processor or can be bought from Grimgar's Garden shops.
