Make sure to follow the direction on this tech support page to do a proper clean re-install https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/261550/discussions/17/2968397584539744282/

I have followed theese steps after a few hours same issue persists.
Did you run the game without mods or did you put mods back in before testing it.

I played w/o mods after a few hours it both started to crash periodically without trigger and the issue i described before happened.

I have no idea what is going on i couldn't find anything about this online, my pc is more than capable of running the game i have the latest driver updates etc.

But giving it a clean install gave me 1 or 2 hours of playtime before the crash.

If you did a clean install as linked above, be sure to turn off all forms of cloud save. Also, after doing a clean install do not try to use the same save again, Start a fresh game, without cloud save garbage, Steam/ OneDrive etc., and see how that works.

Once you use a mod, and save a game, any changes the mod(s) did are now baked into your save file. Removing the mods then trying to play the same save is useless.

After you have tried the above, if there are still issues, flash your bios to the most current version from the vendors/manufacturers web page especially is you are using Intel parts, 13/14 gen.

I appreciate the help <3 but to be honest i don't love this game that much. disabling onedrive or messing with my bios is not worth this half baked game i am quite done with it tbh. Because after crashing my pc a bunch it started to shut it down aswell...
Im just gonna go back to playing rdr 2

I seriously appreciate it though dont get me wrong <3
