Is there anyone who can create a mod for carrying incapacitated survivors?

I'm writing this because the mod is currently not visible at all.

The idea for the mod is as follows.


1. A survivor can press an activation key to pick up another incapacitated survivor.

2. The incapacitated survivor will hang from the assisting survivor.

3. While carrying a survivor, the movement speed will be reduced.

4. The incapacitated survivor can be placed back on the ground by pressing a specific key.

I believe this mode would be useful in urgent situations, such as when a large horde of zombies is approaching and there’s little time left before reaching the safe room.

The mechanics of this mode are as follows:
Since there are no animations or functions for carrying, I envisioned the following mechanics:

1. An incapacitated survivor lying on the ground appears.

2. The assisting player can press a specific key to either pick up the survivor or place them back on the ground.

3. When activated, the incapacitated survivor on the ground transitions to a ledge-hanging incapacitated survivor.

4. The ledge-hanging target will be designated as the assisting survivor.

5. The ledge-hanging incapacitated survivor will be positioned behind the assisting survivor.

6. Since there are no animation functions, the hanging survivor should transition to a ledge-hanging incapacitated state, with only a reduction in movement speed for the assisting survivor, without any separate pick-up animation.

7. Pressing the specific key again will switch the ledge-hanging incapacitated survivor back to an incapacitated survivor lying on the ground.

In this mode, I would like to handle the following situations:

1. The assisting player's movement speed will be reduced to 50%. When using adrenaline, the movement speed will be 70%.

2. If someone attempts to revive the survivor hanging from the player, they will be interrupted. For example, if someone tries to forcibly rescue them while they are hanging, the assisting player will be knocked back.

3. The assisting player will be forced to drop the hanging survivor to the ground in the following situations:

- If they become incapacitated or die.
- If they are caught by a special zombie's attack (smoker, jockey, hunter, charger).
- If they are hit by a Tank (including rocks).
- If they are knocked back.
- If they go AFK or disconnect.
- If the assisting player attempts to rescue the hanging survivor.
- If they fall from a certain height (about the height of a first-floor building).
- If they are thrown due to physical impact (e.g., being hit by a charger or a tank).

Is there a modder who could implement these features?

I do not know of anyone who would code the mod but there is a similar sort of mod that allows incapped survivors to crawl.

I know there’s a cvar command for crawling and that it’s easy to apply. However, I think it would be great to have a mode where other survivors can carry an incapacitated survivor while moving.

I don't want incapacitated survivors to move on their own.

In urgent situations, it might be possible to carry someone over a short distance, but having an injured survivor being carried feels like a penalty.

This mode would create a sense of choice for other survivors.

Will you leave them behind, or will you carry them (with a movement speed penalty of 0.5)?

That’s the feeling I’m going for.

But honestly, it might be better to just stand them up right there, haha.

However, there are situations where you can’t do that (like during infinite zombie waves, etc.), so I wish this mode existed.
