Out of curiosity, were you able to figure out how to update the mod on the workshop?
Did changing the filename to match the original help?
Previously you were able to simply upload a new file and replace / delete the old file, but that part seems to either have been removed or is broken.
It says that you should download a local copy to make changes, so I did this (although the instructions are clearly out of date or just poorly worded, as the words don't match the game's mod interface), I made the changes, but I still wasn't able to update the live mod.
In the end I just deleted the old mod and created a new one. It probably wasn't necessary to delete the old one but I saw no point in keeping it as the sub was now broken (by various game updates since I created it).
I have to conclude that this mod interface is either just bad / very unintuitive or is actually broken and needs attention, it certainly used to work fine a few updates ago and was easy to use.
Shouldn't have to do that. This functionality used to be a part of the mod interface within Barotrauma (changing which actual files were part of the mod) but now it just seems to be missing.
I only used the mod interface within Barotrauma, it offers to make a local copy so that's what I did. No facility to then update the original mod on the servers, the only option seems to be to upload it as a new mod. If I missed something then I don't know what, I'd need a video showing the precise procedure if that's the case as I can't see how it can be done.
