any zombieland type mods for 1.5?
i wanted to do a zombie apocalypse run but cant find any versions of Zombieland on 1.5, and the og mod is discontinued, so im wondering if there are any alternatives or if theres a continuation i somehow missed and if there isnt a continuation is anyone working/would be willing to work on one?

also i'd prefer it if the mods didnt depend on any of the dlcs except ideology cus thats the only one i have

Idkn but Hope the mod is CE Compatible

CE compatible is preferable yeah
Deathpallcalypse has a similar effect, especially when paired with a mod to make shamblers more numerous like I've provided here. Only good if you get Anomaly though.

If you get desperate, Anomaly is a quality buy, definitely better than Ideology.
Just letting you know, because this is RimWorld's top notch zombies now.

im not really a fan of Anomaly, all of the love-craftian horror stuff just seems unpleasant to play with and it doesnt look like it has much else than that

I'd say there's only one thing that fits my definition of Lovecraftian in Anomaly, everything else is just horror tropes 101 and some neat tech unlocked with an extra fun research system.

If it's not for you, it's not, but if you want zombies so bad then I doubt you'd be so opposed to the rest of 'em.
Anomaly is better than Ideology? X to doubt on that one.

Also, zombie apocalypse like Zombieland is not the same experience as having to deal with constant nociospheres and other annoyances from Anomaly.

It's threat variety, it's not like it puts you in any EXTRA danger, just different danger.

the problem with anomaly threats tho from what i see is for most of them you have to dedicate time to studying them rather than just defeating/avoiding them instantly like you're able to with raids or manhunter packs or zombie hordes

some of them also just seem so bs based off description like the cube and flesh growth thingy

It's a 3-way split. Some of them can't be dealt with, only defended from until they stop. Some of them can be shot and downed like normal. And some can be subdued but may require insight first. It's honestly really fun, not sure how it could be a problem. I love having the threat variety. It's like how mech clusters are a selling point despite being a raid type.
