"DAMAGE" and "STORES" settings in the mission editor
Has anyone been able to successfully implement the "DAMAGE" or the "STORES" drop down to any vessel in the editor? I was attempting to create a mission where a Russian Ballistic Missile Submarine was damaged when it impacted the seabed.

Changing the "DAMAGE" and "STORES" options in the designer for the submarine does not seem to have any effect at all on any vessel I apply it to. I tried to set the Submarine to "Medium" or "Heavy" damage and "STORES" to "Depleted" to give authenticity to it being disabled.

I was able to partially get around this by...

1. Setting the Russian sub as "NEUTRAL" and hiding it within a trigger area called "SEARCH AREA" then it would not attack me while attempting to find it.
2. once the search vessels or aircraft located the submarine, it shifted the side from neutral to blue
3. which then gave me control of the submarine to get it to a "Safe Zone" trigger that would end the mission.

However, I would rather have the submarine actually damaged with no weapons (or limited weapons) and it would take time to maneuver it to the safe zone without protection from perusing enemy.

Are there plans to implement these features in future releases? Or am I attempting to use them incorrectly?

If so, are they going to be able to be changed using triggers? In this scenario, I wanted to have the submarine remain on-station for a timed trigger that would move its damage level to a lesser setting... allowing me to "render aid" and "repair" options when my task force arrived. THEN I could take control and navigate the submarine under the protection of the fleet from the Russian forces that are triggered to sink it.

That being said, will there be a way in the designer to set a "Target" for attacking forces? Or is that the "HIGH VALUE" option in the vessel settings?

Thanks in advance!!!!
