What are your plans for electric storage? Infinitely rechargable batteries (one portable type and one stationary you can build to cover a tile/circular range) would be the easy choice. Having to recharge items with non-constant drain, ex. the brain scanner, via new/topped-up batteries could add an interesting complication.
The sprinklers are now in, they give water to nearby crops and will need to have a Well nearby! There's also a tiny water effect (which can't be seen in the screenshot).
Also added the water mill and the battery bank! It will charge based on the power output from solar panels, water and wind mills. And you can just use it as another kind of "generator" to power other appliances (and use all that saved up electricity).
About using batteries for the brain scanner, it should be easy to do. I was actually working on bringing flashlights to the game, and they require batteries to function, so it's definitely possible
