Are mods for B41 still working?
Or are modders updating their mod for B42 and breaking it for B41?

I don't think you really know. I think you're assuming.

The only person assuming anything is you. You clearly dont know anything about modding, hence your absurd posts. Nothing mod authors do for B42 affects B41. Again, they are 2 completely different versions. Different files. This isnt complicated.

They clearly understand that by the nature and wording of their post. You seem to lack reading and or comprehension skills, which is a strange reason to lash out at others, and then not even answering the question.

@Boge I'm sure any active modders are updating their mods to 42, but given the "controversy" of 42, I guess it wouldn't be surprising if most people kept their version 41 still up and available.
Not every mod. You can select B41 in the filter menu and you will see many supported mods for that version. I see however that most mods are converting or being made for the B42 version.

Thats pretty blatantly false. Im not sure why you're trolling that of all things. They clearly dont know a thing about modding from their wording and responses. Mods dont magically break when authors make a different game version of them. You and OP are absolutely delusional
Unlike previous builds B42 underwent changes to support version control, so its very likely there are 2 separate file structures for B42 and B41 currently included in each mod. However, mod-authors can choose to remove B41 files from their mod, but I can't imagine anyone would do that when they can just publish a new version for B42.
