Help with editing npc appearances
I know how to swap out the macros to change npc appearances, but I don't know how to control the variances of a given macro. For example if I want a marine looking guy, I could change the macro="..." to character_ar_male_defense_macro but that won't control whether or not he has sunglasses, which type, and whether he has a scarred up face or not. I've tried copying and pasting the npcseed line but that doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone figured this out?

Check out libraries\charactergroups.xml , I think that's what controls the variants.

Edit: Also assets\characters\character_macros.xml looks like it controls even more if you haven't looked at it already.

Edit 2: And now that I've looked at a little, I think all you'd have to do is figure out which head model has the sunglasses then add weight="100" to that line.

Edit: By the way, camus, I recommended your mod in my gamestart mod. Built it with Fake IDs in mind. Thanks again! Awesome mod preview.jpg too. lol
