Right, but is there a way for me to manually access the sound file that the mod plays so I can lower its volume in an external program?
Unfortunately, the workshop gro files are a little bothersome to access. They are in Temp/Workshop/ but they all have these weird numbers as names, so you have to find it yourself. Then you need to extract the sound, and then put it in Content/SeriousSam3/ in the same folder as it was in the gro files itself. (So if the file in the gro was in Content/SeriousSam3/Sounds/Weapons, then outside of the gro, the file have to be in these same folders.) You can't replace the files inside the workshop gro's themselves, as the workshop item check will fix that, as far as I know. So you have to extract the file.
