Problems with Steam Workshop

Every time I start up the modded version of SS3, I keep getting a message that says, "STEAM WORKSHOP CONTENT UPDATE FAILED. PLEASE RESTART THE APPLICATION TO TRY AGAIN." I've restarted the game several times & even uninstalled then reinstalled the game completely, and I still have this problem. I even get the message in the un-modded version. I seriously need some help (no pun intended), because I want to do a Let's Play of SS3 modded, but not when this problem is hanging around. Does anyone have a solution?

This is something that several people have been reporting on some occasions. It is just something related to Steam connectivity and it doesn't seem like there's anything we can do about it. You can try changing the download region, or similar "voodoo" solutions, but there's no guarantee what will work. :(

If you really, really want to have some mod installed, you can have someone else install it and send the gro file to you.
