Begin to mod.
I have an idea of a new unit I wanna mod into the game. But I've asked around on the Discord. And it ends at "Go to #ThisPage for the files needed but no one ever tells me how to get what I want to bring into the game.

Can someone help me out xD

Hi,

please take a look at an already existing mod https://www.nexusmods.com/doorkickers2/mods/ and make your first mod.

Been to this page many times before. Not really relevant. I wanna make one, not download one.

And it's the only way to create a unit mod...

There are currently no tutorials on modding, but I added a template mod to the game's root folder which you can use as a base: DK2/mods/
(the mod adds a new unit - Seals)

Most game files are text-based XML files, open them in Notepad and hack around.
