Description
Units that have not been revealed to XCOM (activated) will no longer use Overwatch.

Solves a myriad of problems including units in the fog of war who have not been engaged showing up flyover text, giving you their exact position.

This mod is only useful if you allow enemies to obtain the perk Ever Vigilant. See my Additional Enemy Perks mod. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1140770689

-= NOTES =-

If a unit is activated and then returns to the fog of war, the flyover will still show. This occurence is extremely rare and the trouble of patching this is not worth it.

This mod is still useful if you use activate all pods, because before concealment is broken Ever Vigilant can still proc.

No overrides, a condition was added to Overwatch abilities and the Ever Vigilant Trigger.

I also patched Deep Cover, if you use a mod that gives both Deep Cover and Hunker Down to enemies.

On reflection it's probably a conflict with one of the various enemy unit mods I've got installed. For example I think both missions had Sectoid Abductors and Advent Medics. Game attempts to clean-up a custom unit with a recurring minor script clash and tail-spins.

Not expecting to you to look into, I cannot be bothered to troubleshoot it myself :lol_emily:

I'm not entirely sure what could do this behavior, nothing in this mod is saved upon game end. It prevents a unit from using Overwatch while concealed, with no data saved, by disallowing any unit that has not SCAMPERED yet (revealed) to use it. The only other thing I can imagine is another mod changing the exact same script. I'm stumped honestly where to even start looking.

2 missions, 2 identical crashes at the end of mission during World clean-up script (garbage collection routine) with this mod enabled (only change to my load order too).

I can provide the last 500 lines of the crash logs if you like. Otherwise no worries, I have a complex load order and will just play without this.

flyover for hidden enemies who r activated would be good too, u always know where the hidden enemy overwatch

Its not not enjoyable, its just underwhelming. But its free now so cant complain but i wouldnt pay for it.

Really ? I'm really enjoying the whole thing. Four campaigns in miniature; some nice nods back to this (Osai! Ramirez! Kelly!) and previous games; an amazing new soundtrack; new content blended into my next WotC campaign...

But hey, everyone's different.

This is a rehash pack. Theres almost no new content and the missions are repetitive. I wouldnt pay for this. Im not impressed personally. Even the missions are anachronic. Big timeline issues.
