Description
Main Changes:

Ammo.
>All ammo now comes in packs of 100, weights,Prices, production times, and inventory sizes have been changed to reflect than

Crossbows:
>Toothpick (CANF Paradigm:Fast reload, Short range, Light bolts low penetration)
>Springbat : (CANF Paradigm:Slow Reload, Med range, Bleed causing bolts) uses special duct like bolts which cause continued bleeding by creating an opening through the bolt head and shaft
>Ranger (CANF Paradigm:Fast reload, Med Long range,Easy to use )
>Oldworld Mk1 (CANF Paradigm:( Calibrated for Supression) Fast Reload,Long range, Med Penetration)
>Oldworld Mk2 (CANF Paradigm:( Calibrated for big Game, Slow Reload,Long range, High Penetration)
>Eagle's Cross (CANF Paradigm:( Calibrated for Sniping) Slow Reload,Long range, High Penetration, Ultra High Velocity(less lead time required, more line of sligh importance tho) )
Junkbow (basically crappy Toothpick- see toothpick)

Decision Notes (Why i did what)

>Each crossbow follows its individual paradigm and plays a specific role, its not as simple as more expensive is better, depends on your playstyle and the stats of your archer.

>Spring bats cause intentional bleeding by using ducts in the bolt head and hollow shafts, good for hunting or incapacitating targets.

1)All crossbows can shoot much further (Increase NPC render distance if you want to snipe)
-------You can shoot at em but whether you hit em or not will depend on crossbows skill, and perception,
--------having all of your guys firing at long distance targets will get results, rain on them

2)Less deviation on all crossbows, it made no sense that they used to miss when the enemy was right in their face, so now skill come into play as the distance increases, faceshots are almost guaranteed, before you draw your melee weapon.

3) A lot of emphasis on perception skill if you want to hit running enemies, but its fun to watch them lead their targets.

4)HUNTING! it makes no sense to go against a levaiathan with spears does it? now have your guys rain on the animals. ALL CROSSBOWS get bonus when hunting animals.Crabs are slightly resistant(need more input)

5) Skeletons are super resistant to arrows

6) Shek due to their boney nature and bones in odd places, and boners at wrong occasions ehmm i mean they are also slightly resistant to arrows.

7) perfect accuracy(0 deviation) is easier to achieve but it doesnt mean 100% hits, just that your guy knows where he is shooting and the arrow goes where he was planing for it to go, the enemy might have moved.

8)The best quality crossbows of all models can be reloaded in 1 second at maximum skill, crappy ones can only be reloaded as fast as 2 seconds. get a better quality crossbow for your sharpshooter.

9) and remember crossbows are a skirmishing weapon, wear light shoes, be ready to run, OR have ton of mates all shooting together, much more fun.

HOW TO MAKE A FIRING LINE.
Set all your archers to HOLD and RANGED, place them all one by one in a line, leave space between them, have your longest range archer open fire on the enemy squad, RIGHT CLICK ATTACK UNPROVOKED OR ATTACK ALL. once they start running towards you enjoy the slaughter, dont worry if one of your guy is forced to draw melee, watch it unforld, use tooth picks untill all of your guys have shot each other enough times in each other backs tht they have good stats in precision shooting. then start improving their crossbows, pretty soon their precision will be good enough that you can stop putting them on HOLD. they can run around get in range themselves safely

one-shot killing my own men with top crossbows and 75+ precision... its a great mod except for the occasional friendly fire.

Figured it out. It turns out the shooter needs to have the ammo in their inventory and not the crossbow itself. Thanks for the help though.

@Jager try checking the AI page see if they are set to shoot "neutral" threatsif that option isn't enabled the crossbowmen, mounted crossbows and harpoons do not fire until an enemy attacks one of your people

My guys on the mounted crossbows are not shooting (there is ammo loaded) and are in an unlimited cycle of "aiming". Anyone know a solution?

satisfying to cripple or blast a limb off from a great distance

was kinda hoping it's fix the 'line of sight' issue where you cant seem to fire at an angle, but i can't complain this mod is a blast... literally xD
